Tissue Culture banana production
The character of Technology - Seedlings of banana hardened in tissue culture for variety G-9 are hardened in a growth chamber/shade net and off getting3-4 laves are planted at farmers' fields at a spacing of 180 X 150 cm. line to line and plant to plant spacing up to 15th fully. N.P.K. ratio 300:100:300 gm is required per plant in 5-8 days. After every 40-45 days of planting except December & January. In November plants attain a height of more than 3 feet, which is an indicator of good character. Efforts were made to keep forward weed-free by cultural operations.
